We left Palolem yesterday after hanging for a few days with Nicky - a fellow Bendigonian and her friends - Simon and Bryan from the UK who are doing India by motorbike and two Swedish girls who left to go home sadly!Simon and Bryan offered us a lift to our next destination - Anjuna where we were headed to visit the famous Wednesday market. It was an amazing experience to see India from a motorbike!
The market was amazing and absolute hippie heaven with everything that you could think of for sale an about a thousand stalls! We bought a few things each but are now having huge troubles lugging that bag! We then went to a bar next to the market overlooking the beach to watch a band made up of people from all over the glove that had travelled India and just stayed here. It was like the Red Hot Chilli Peppers crossed with the spiritual sounds of India - very interesting!
We thought that we had a nice healthy sun kissed glow but looks like we have a long way to go! ;)
