This was one of the most amazing things that we have done in India so far! We caught the train from Cochin - a nice 1.5 hour train and spent the night in Alleppey where we organised to go with a group of people on an overnight cruise through Keralan backwaters. We must say that it would not be the worst place to live! It was beautiful.
